Jessica Mulroney’s TV show cancelled after host called out on ‘textbook white privilege’

A number of mainstream outlets have dropped their original coverage from this story, including the New York Times and USA Today. The NYT also apologized to Erdely for what they described as a "misinterpretation of her comments." But it seems that Ms Durkin has chosen to keep his words about racial discrimination alive in spite he made them clear at first blush – by claiming she's wrong when all evidence shows otherwise. Even more important than any misreadings is why people still think racism exists … because we can only imagine how outraged many other viewers would be if someone said something like those three sentences just now...

CTV has announced that Jessica Mulroney's reality show I Do, Redo, is being removed from its airwaves, contrasting the host's recent behavior with the broadcaster's "commitment to diversity and equality."

The news came just a day after author and influencer Sasha Exeter accused Muloney of trying to threaten her life.

Exeter, black, likened the latest incident to the "Amy Cooper" experience, referring to a New York woman who called police to a black bird watcher.

Exeter, the cause of So Sasha's lifestyle website, said Mulroney has abused Exeter's recent call for more people to use their platforms to speak out against racism.

"What happened next was a series of very troublesome behavior and arguments that led to him sending me a threat in writing last Wednesday, June 3," he said in an Instagram post.
